James Grennen, founder and principal of myCMEA.com, brings invaluable experience and credentials to his machinery and equipment (M&E) appraisal practice. He is a certified M&E appraiser, backed by full business valuation certifications and an extensive background in the financial industry. As a result, clients are ensured a fair, accurate and unbiased assessment of the specific piece or pieces of equipment and machinery, relevant to their businesses and industries.
Grennen brings a unique blend of education and career specific certifications to his M&E clients. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Fordham University. He received his Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA in Finance from Rutgers University Graduate School of Business. In addition to being a Certified Machinery & Equipment Appraiser (CMEA), he is a Senior Business Analyst (SBA) with the NEBB Institute. He also has earned certification as an Accredited Valuation Analyst (AVA) with the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA), qualifying him to perform full business valuations/appraisals.
Grennen resides on Long Island in New York with his wife, Marina, a registered nurse, and their children, Ciara and Richard. He and his family enjoy the outdoors, sports and traveling, often visiting his wife’s native Ireland.
